"Amazon launched a streaming feature on Tuesday that will make it easier for iPhone and Android users to beam video content from their phones onto their televisions through Amazon devices like the Fire TV. The feature, called 'Matter Casting,' resembles Apple’s AirPlay and Google’s Chromecast.
"Unlike Apple and Google’s features, Matter Casting is interoperable, so the feature can work with more apps on a greater number of devices, according to Amazon.
"Amazon revealed Matter Casting alongside several other hardware-related announcements at the Consumer Electronics Show, including an Alexa integration for BMW vehicles and a Fire TV partnership with Panasonic."
