•  In the Men's Singles Finals at Wimbledon, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic, 1-6, 7-6 (6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4, to, as some experts put it, spotlight a generational shift that the sport has been yearning for.

And, in the Women's Singles Finals, Marketa Vondrousova, in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, becoming the first unseeded player ever to win Wimbledon.

•  And finally, Lionel Messi, who made headlines in the sports world when he signed on to play for for Inter Miami in the MLS, last week did what everybody does when they move to Florida.

He and his family went shopping at Publix.

He was definitely thrilled with the bountiful, sugary cereal options that America provides, if his cart is any indication."
