The Detroit Free Press reports that Hollywood Super Markets, a four-store independent based in Troy, Michigan, will acquire three of the Michigan Farmer Jack stores being sold by the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. (A&P). The announcement follows Kroger’s announcement that it is buying 20 Farmer Jacks.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hollywood’s ownership is negotiating with the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), which has represented Farmer Jack’s employees to this point.
