business news in context, analysis with attitude

The Coca-Cola Co. and Campbell Soup have reached an agreement on a distribution deal that they say will result in far broader distribution of Campbell’s V-8 vegetable and fruit juices. One analyst said that the deal would as much as triple the amount of business done by single-serve V-8 cans and bottles.

"Everywhere there's a cash register and a cooler, we want V8," Denise Morrison, president of Campbell USA, said in an interview.
KC's View:
We have written in this space before about our fondness for V-8. Anything that puts it in more places, and creates a real vending machine presence for the brand, is a good thing in our book.
