• The secretary convicted of trying to sell Coca-Cola trade secrets to PepsiCo has been sentenced to eight years in prison, which is longer than the federal guidelines in such a case. "This is the kind of offense that cannot be tolerated in our society,” U.S. District Judge J. Owen Forrester told Joya Williams in pronouncing the sentence.

• Costco, which traditionally has not sold Apple computers in its stores but has sold iPods, reportedly has added the Apple TV to its shelves…and is selling it for $10 less than it is being sold by the computer maker. The test is taking place in 50 stores, and could be rolled out nationwide.

We love Apple TV…it is a great wireless way of watching movies or TV shows that you’ve downloaded to your computer on a television set…without the use of wires or cords. And we like the idea that Costco is getting into the business.
