Frozen ground beef patties produced by the Richwood Meat Co. and distributed in California, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon and Washington have been recalled after at least three children were sickened because of E. coli contamination.

The Wall Street Journal reports that “Steve Wood, vice president for Richwood Meat, said he doesn't know which slaughterhouse provided the meat. Richwood receives raw, boneless meat from suppliers and turns it into hamburger patties and other products.”
