• Rite Aid reported a third quarter loss of $5.2 million, compared to a profit of $300,000 during the same period a year ago. Revenues for the period were up slightly, to $4.2 billion from $4.1 billion during last year’s third quarter. Same-store pharmacy sales were up 0.7 percent for the period, while same-store front end sales were up 3.4 percent.
