KC's View:
Well, we have some movies to see before the Oscars are handed out on February 29, namely Finding Neverland, Hotel Rwanda, Being Julia, Kinsey, Maria Full of Grace, and Vera Drake. We’ve seen pretty much everything else…and while this isn’t a completely informed judgment because we haven’t seen all the movies, look for the acting awards to go to Jamie Foxx, Hillary Swank, and Clive Owen. (We can’t make up our mind between Cate Blanchett and Virginia Madsen, though we’re leaning toward the latter because Sideways was our favorite movie of the year.

We’ll report back…

Oh, yeah, one other thing – count on Super Size Me, Morgan Spurlock’s wonderfully witty indictment of McDonald’s and America’s fast food fixation, to win Best Documentary.
