  • A new study by the European Interactive Advertising Association (EIAA) says that 30 percent of online residents of the UK bought 16 items or more over the Internet during 2004 – the highest rate in Europe, which overall had just 19 percent of online residents buying that much merchandise via the web.

    The only country that came close to the UK, according to the report, was Sweden, with 24 percent.

    In addition, the study suggested that 96 percent of those who bought items online were satisfied with the experience.
