The Boston Globe reports that the movie “Sideways” is stimulating a lot of interest in Pinot Noir, as retailers and bartenders are noting that people are ordering and asking questions about the fragile, sometimes temperamental wine.

Whew.

That goodness that it is Pinot Noir that has captured people’s interest.

Because if things had gone the other way, it might have made people interested in being misogynistic, self-loathing alcoholics.
