UK magazine The Grocer reports that Tesco is that nation’s least expensive supermarket, beating out Wal-Mart’s Asda Group for the first time. It’s by a slim margin, though – the magazine says that Tesco is 0.4 percent cheaper than Asda.

Tesco remains the UK’s biggest supermarket chain, with a 29 percent market share.
