  • Published reports say that Roundy's will hire Mark Beaty, a former regional director of merchandising and store operations for H.E. Butt Grocery Co., to be vice president and general manager of Rainbow Foods.

    Beaty succeeds Dale Riley, who resigned earlier this month.

  • Albertsons Inc. has named Duncan Mac Naughton as senior vice president of merchandising, responsible for merchandising efforts across food, general merchandise, health & beauty care, fuel, and alcohol. Mac Naughton most recently served as group vice president, grocery merchandising.
