Advertising Age reports that the new magazine being published by Tome Inc. for Wal-Mart will be called "All You."

According to an internal Time Inc. memo, "All You" will be a newsstand-only title distributed exclusively through Wal-Mart stores. The two companies are guaranteeing advertisers a minimum circulation of a half-million people.

"All You," according to the memo, will cover topics ranging from home repair to interpersonal relationships, the common thread being "real-life, practical solutions."

The magazine is scheduled to launch in September. Both companies expect that it could be sold elsewhere in about a year-and-a-half.
KC's View:
We still think that Time is getting into a potential bind in terms of editorial control and independence. And we know for a fact that there are folks on the inside at Time who feel the same way.

But we'll see if that's how it turns out.
