Tesco, the UK's largest supermarket chain, announced that it will begin using a carbohydrate index on all its private label products.

PlanetRetail.net reports this morning that Tesco will list a "glycemic index" on its food products which shows carbohydrate levels for people trying to adhere to a low-carb diet, which also will benefit consumers who need to monitor their sugar intake.
